"Behind Closed Eyes"

Stuck in this padded cell
Staring out barred windows
Darkness streaks this torturous hell
Evil lurks in all shadows
There's a faint cry from a lost soul
Who's is hurting day and night
A monster lurks within this dream
Is the cause of all her fright
No one knows she's in here
Her cries will go unheard
In her cell there is no light
But still her soul will burn
The monster never shows his face
Or even raise a hand
The fear he causes is killing her
She's drowning in quicksand
Something tightens around her throat
Though his hands never move
She searches for her strangler
Her panic no one can sooth
There are no doors to this cell
No one can ever get in
She looks out through her eyes into a world of light
From her minds she's trapped within
