I'm not like them, but I can pretend

hey everyone, i'm finally home and done being a public transportation bitch lol. seriously, i took everything but a train to get home today. local Erie bus to the greyhound station, a greyhound bus to the downtown buffalo station, a cab to the buffalo airport, a plane to JFK airport (NYC), n then my daddy picked me up n took me home. damn what a tiring day. but i'm finally home now so it's all good. wow i have soo much to do this break that it's really not much of a vacation. english research paper to write, 15 page biology report due the first day we come back, plus a huge chem test that day too. jeez...... what ever happened to using your break as a break and not just extra time to do more work? i think professors don't understand what it means to have a break from school, i think they just see days off and immediately say "oooh, yay, i can give them more work". anyone who is in college or remembers what it's like to be a student (especially a freshman), knows that breaks are mostly spent sleeping and unwinding. we all need these breaks to keep us sane. i've been under more stress in these past 7 months than i have ever been before and when i have a break and have to spend it writing papers, it doesn't help. i go back to school feeling as tired and worn out as i did when i left for home.

Oh well, only one month left before summer anyway....
