I'm not like them, but I can pretend

ok interesting day so far and i just woke up. i woke up to my mother sitting on my bed sobbing this morning. of course it woke me up and when i asked her what was wrong she told me that her best friend, who i consider an aunt, is in the hospital dying of cancer. apparently it has spread throughout her body and she had no idea she even had it. the only reason she thought something was up was cuz she started having headaches and they found brain tumors. needless to say my mother was very upset. this has been her best friend since they were 5yrs old and they lived next door to each other until they graduated HS. this is a woman who has five children, the oldest being 22 and the youngest being about 7. i grew up with these kids and their mother was a very big part of my life. i am asking all of you now to pray for her soul and also pray for my mother as this might be the hardest death for her to bear. thank you all very much and may God bless you and keep all of your families safe.
